Who We Are

At the French Academie of Ballet, we believe that even a little support can go a long way in changing the world. We have strived to make a positive impact since our establishment in 2011.

Our studio is more than just a place for ballet classes - it's a community. We prioritize teaching the French School of Ballet ethics, art, and camaraderie. With a rich tradition dating back 350 years, FAB offers training in class chic and elegant French styles.

Our Ballet Academie was founded in 2011 in a Hell's Kitchen diner and named by Francois' students during a brunch. We are dedicated to ensuring every student completes their training under Francois' guidance.

Many of our former students have become professional dancers at prestigious companies such as Nederlands Dans Theatre, Carolina Ballet, Batsheva Dance Company, and Nashville Ballet. Even after 11 years, we continue to train dancers who will join the ranks of professional dance companies.

The work we do at the French Academie of Ballet is aimed at providing not only the best training but at teaching about ethics, and what to expect not only in a dance company but in the workplace in general. We make sure our students get the best foundation for the future ahead.
We have provided in the past scholarships for students whose families couldn't meet the tuition and provide those students with the opportunity to do what they love with the best training.
